Born in the historic Bafut Fondom of Cameroon’s Northwest Region, M. Fusi Valentine stands as a modern African visionary whose life unites royal heritage, educational transformation, humanitarian service, leadership development, and faith-driven nation building. Rooted in a lineage of traditional leadership, he is the paternal great-grandson of Chief Atanga of Mankanikong and the maternal great-grandson of Chief Nebachi of Mbebili — a heritage that continues to shape his passion for identity, responsibility, and generational impact.

Deeply inspired by the courage, wisdom, and statesmanship of His Royal Highness Fon Abumbi II of the Bafut Fondom, M. Fusi Valentine believes that authentic leadership begins with service to one’s people, culture, and nation. Today, he serves as President of the Neba Tamafor’s family
With over 19 years of professional teaching experience, M. Fusi Valentine has dedicated his life to shaping minds, restoring hope, and empowering communities through education. As an Educationist serving under the Divisional Delegation of Basic Education in Mezam, Cameroon, he has consistently championed excellence, discipline, innovation, and transformational learning.

His leadership journey includes successfully heading three schools, including GBPS Djimeta-Mokolo in Cameroon’s Far North Region. Between 2010 and 2012, he volunteered at Government Bilingual High School Mokolo, where he taught English Language and English as a Second Language across multiple academic levels.

One of the defining chapters of his humanitarian journey was serving children affected by the Boko Haram insurgency at the Minawao Refugee Camp. Working directly with displaced learners transformed his understanding of education as a tool for healing, peacebuilding, and social restoration. This experience led to specialized humanitarian and leadership training from globally respected institutions including:

His academic and professional credentials include a Degree in Teacher Education, a First Class MBA in Leadership, a Red Cross Certificate, international diplomas in Human Resource Management and Project Management & Evaluation from (PAID-WA) as well as professional studies in Conflict Analysis from the United States Institute of Peace-USIP.

Recognized for his strategic thinking and institution-building capacity, M. Fusi Valentine designs development projects for local, national, and international funding opportunities across multiple sectors. His work bridges visionary ideas with sustainable implementation, particularly in education, youth empowerment, leadership, agriculture, community development, and humanitarian transformation.
