The Sovereign Leader: About the Author Hailing from the Bafut Fondom in the Northwest Region of Cameroon, M. Fusi Valentine is deeply proud of his identity as an indigene of this historic land. His life is a bridge between a rich royal heritage and a modern mission for African transformation. He entered this world on the 4th of September, born into a lineage where royalty runs deep in his blood: paternally, he is the great-grandson of Chief Atanga of Mankanikong , and maternally, the great-grandson of Chief Nebachi of Mbebili .This legacy of leadership is carried forward today in his role as the President of the Neba Tamafor family meeting where he serves the very roots that raised him. Believing that charity begins at home, His Royal Highness Fon Abumbi II of the Bafut Fondom remains one of his greatest icons; M. Fusi Valentine deeply admires his courage, his wisdom, and his unwavering stance for the truth. The Professional & Strategist With over 19 years of teaching experience ,M. Fusi Valentine is an Educationist working at the Divisional Delegation of Basic Education Mezam. He has been a dedicated member of the Teachers Association of Cameroon (TAC) for over ten years, a testament to his long-standing commitment to the professional standards and welfare of educators in his nation. His career is marked by significant leadership and a heart for service, having successfully headed three schools including GBPS Djimeta-Mokoloin the Far North. From 2010 to 2012, he served as a volunteer at Government Bilingual High School Mokolo ,where he taught first-cycle students in the English-speaking section and instructed Lower and Upper Sixth students in the French section in English as a Second Language. A defining turning point in his career was teaching Nigerian children at the Minawao Refugee Camp in response to the Boko Haram insurgencies. This experience led to specialized training from global institutions including UNICEF, UNESCO, UNHCR, WHO, Plan International, Premiere Urgence, the International Rescue Committee, and the Lutheran World Federation. He also served as the Publicity Secretary of the English Speaking Meeting in Mayo-Tsanaga, Far North Region. His academic foundation includes a Degree in Teacher Education** and a First Class MBA in Leadership, complemented by a Red Cross Certificate and international diplomas in Human Resource Management, Project Management and Evaluation (PAID-WA), and Conflict Analysis from the United States Institute of Peace. A Life of Service, Advocacy & Enterprise The leadership journey of M. Fusi Valentine includes serving as a University Student Union President, Church Chairperson, and Branch President of the Bafut Development Manjong (BDM). Today, he is an Executive Member of EMMI Empire, a Public Speaker on Leadership, and a 2024 International Leadership Award winner. Beyond public service, he is an entrepreneur as the Proprietor of "Royal Priesthood Cool Store Bafut, the founder of the Arise Shine Common Initiative Group, and the Founder and owner of the website Impactafricans.com .On the pitch, he is a very good footballer, ( veteran proudly wearing the Number 9 jersey. The Divine Assignment As a servant of God specifically assigned to the leaders of Nations, M. Fusi Valentine is a staunch defender of the rights of children and teachers, with a deep-seated passion for the less privileged and the downtrodden in society. He is married to Colette Mudeh, and they are blessed with two Kings and one Queen: Jr, Blessing, and Faith. His inspirations include Apostle Ambe Valentine, Dr. Erise Mary, Dr. Benard Etta, Bishop David Oyedepo, and Dr. Myles Munroe,with Jesus Christ as his ultimate role model. M.
